GRAMMY Nominations and GRAMMY Awards Dates Announced

GRAMMY Nominations and live Nashville concerts will take place on CBS Wednesday, December 05, 2012 at 10PM EST/PST and 9PM CST.

"We are excited for the opportunity to bring 'The GRAMMY Nominations Concert Special Live!!' to Nashville this year as we recognize our nominees for the 55th Annual GRAMMY Awards," said Neil Portnow, President/CEO of The Recording Academy.

The 55th Annual GRAMMY Awards will take place live from the Los Angeles Staples Center on CBS Sunday, February 10, 2013 at 8PM EST/PST. Last year, 39.9 million viewers watched marking second largest in Grammy history. The telecast was also the biggest social event in the history of television, drawing 13 million social media comments with the conversation on Twitter (@TheGRAMMYs) reaching a record high at 160,341 tweets per minute during the live telecast. Additionally, the 54th GRAMMY Awards telecast has received six Emmy nominations, including in the Outstanding Special Class Programs category.

Nashville, Tennessee will be the first time Grammy Nominations take place outside of Los Angeles, but will have live concerts from Bridgestone Arena.
